Contraceptive Patch Study Seeks Volunteers

Our study is testing an investigational contraceptive patch that is not on the market. The patch is designed to deliver continuous low dose estrogen and progestin. We are testing the patch to find out how effective it is at preventing pregnancy and to learn more about side effects and bleeding patterns during patch use. Women who join the study will use the birth control patch as their method of birth control for up to one year. Participants will have 10 clinic visits and at least 6 telephone interviews during the course of the study. Women who are sexually active, currently using birth control or planning to use birth control for at least one year are needed for this study.
