Creating a Filmmaking Team, filmmakers amp actors working together (Aurora)
Greetings fellow actorial hearts, minds and souls!
I'm a fellow actor with improvisational skills, decent filming & editing skills,
some scene writing skills, songwriting skills
musical- guitar, piano skills...
and I'm seeking some like minded actors/actresses to work with
on shorts. Comedy, Drama to Romance dramedy, mocumentary... to start with.
We could brainstorm some ideas, shoot a scene at a park or at the Southglenn
or Smokey hill library. I would be doing the editing; if you edit as well,
then we could both edit.
Shot a bit like a documentary...keeping it simple, allowing our skills to shine.
** No Pay..though..
Great if you are wanting to add something different to your demo reel
and for a fun & different experience..allowing an opportunity to work
with some other fellow acting talent.
I'd like to go from shooting short films & scenes...to finding other people
in order to form a production unit with a few peeps interested in writing/running sound/filming/lighting/editing/directing
along with a nice core of 3 to 5 actors with chemistry that enjoy working together on different short film projects,
sketches...and perhaps a feature at some point.
If we all, or most of us have skills and some basic equipment to bring to the table,
our passions, talents, good PC or Mac and vid editing software,
boom mic, decent camera, basic lighting..
as we could try and shoot with natural light during summer as much as possible,
taking turns, keeping crew down to those involved or those willing to help out.
