Creative Photographer Needed (Sense of Humor required) (Boise)
Hello,
In my last year of school, I'm looking to do two things:
1. Do a "BFF-style" photoshoot with my bestie. This is where the sense of humor comes in, though; because my bestie is my musical instrument.
Crazy, right? But as a musician, I had this random concept that perhaps I could document my passion for music while also being slightly ironic and poking a tad bit of fun at the typical engagement or stock-photo shoot. Ideal candidate would be well-versed in a variety of photography styles, be intrigued by my concept, and quite possibly a fan of 9gag-esque humor. This may or may not involve hopping a few fences just to get some interesting shots. Are your creative juices flowing? Good.
2. Do a "normal" senior photoshoot every month through graduation. This is a stressful time for me, but as the seasons continue to change and lead me up to that big day, I would love to capture it in some way, including having you present the day of graduation so I can get a few professional quality photos in my gown. This gig would require a style that is very wispy, soft, and natural-light based. Quite opposite the gig above. (Note: I'm actually crazy camera-shy. You'll have to bear with me.)
For both sessions, I would want ALL unedited photos on a CD. Also note that these two gigs can and may overlap. They don't have to be exclusive. :)
If interested and qualified, please send me samples and/or a portfolio link and indicate which gig you are most suited for (or both). I have visions in mind for both of these, so please don't be offended if I don't get back to you--it may simply mean that your price-range and/or style isn't quite right. Check out some of my favorites below for ideas on what I'm looking for.
Speaking of price-range: Either of these gigs COULD be paid, however, as a student I'm obviously short on cash most days (meaning every day). If we could work something out to lower and/or eliminate costs and have these shoots simply be for your portfolio, that would be AWESOME. I can provide the CDs, buy you coffee afterwards, do a post on my blog, like and promote your business on Facebook and all that good stuff to make it worth your while.
