Daisy

When we hear the name, Daisy, the flower of the same name first comes to mind. Daisies are cheerful. They have a simplicity in their beauty. They are vigorous and, above all, resilient. These characteristics also aptly describe our Daisy. Daisy was rescued from a particularly horrid shelter environment. She was in such poor health, that we almost lost her. Her recovery has been miraculous and serves as a testament to both the love and care she received, and to her own resilient spirit.

Daisy wears a gentle-leader harness for walks. At night she sleeps in her crate. A spray water bottle interrupts unwanted behavior and good behavior is rewarded with affection and treats. Daisy knows Sit and Down. Daisy is a strong chewer, so Nylabone-type bones work well. She also loves to chase and chew ice-cubes. Daisy is playful and would also enjoy chasing a ball. She is equally affectionate and will kiss and canoodle her people. Daisy is playful and loves other dogs. She likes to set the stage as the alpha. She can become excited and "mouthy" (but not aggressive) in her play, but calms immediately when corrected. Daisy shows no interest in cats and squirrels. She is gentle and loving with children. Daisy is crated when her people are out. She is excited when they return so they always make sure that she is calm before her crate door is open. Daisy is quite talkative if she needs something or during play. Daisy is as joyful as she is enthusiastic. Daisy is a high-energy girl looking for an active person or family.

Daisy is a 50lb 1-year-old female American Staffordshire terrier. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. An application with references, a home visit, and an adoption fee are required. Reply to this posting for.
