Looking for someone 18+, preferably an adult mom. Must have experience with multiple babies/toddlers and enjoy conducting preschool lessons and outdoor activities EVERY DAY. We order in a preschool curriculum that includes full instructions for each day - it takes about 2 hours. I am currently 35 weeks pregnant, so I need someone capable who can hit the ground running. Days are fun and go by quickly if the schedule is followed. The latest I will need a helper is around 3:30, which is when I would arrive home after picking my kids up from school if I need to.
I would love to find a mom who is CPR certified, more energetic than I am these days and super fun!!! There is no "uniform", but actual clothes are required - no pjs/slippers (seriously). You can not fall asleep while watching the kids (its actually happened). And you may not watch TV with the kids while I am paying you to "work". These are all issues that have come up and I will not be giving any chances for laziness. I also need someone super reliable since I will be giving birth at some point, and I need to be able to pick my kids up from school the days you work. :). You are welcome to leave during nap time as needed, as long as you return so I can do pick-ups.
Typical hours will be 2-4 days a week, 8:00 am until either 12:00 or 3:30. Hours will probably be more after baby arrives. (There is a good chance of c-section.) We generally follow the below schedule:
Park/Outside - 8:00-9:00
Potty break & snack
Preschool - 9:30-11:30
Potty break & clean up
Lunch - 12:00
Story time - 12:30
Nap until around 3:00
Play time until pick-up (pick-ups between 4:00-6:00)
We really are fun and nice!! I encourage creativity with lessons and activities. We have occasional movie days and holiday parties. 😊 I am just burnt out on inadequate help. I mainly need someone to take over the "preschool" group. The little guys typically nap during that time so that the older kids can focus. I am always here (except pick-up) and helping with everything.
I am offering $8/hr ($6 if you are bringing a child with you) paid in cash weekly. I've worked in daycare centers and know well that this is more pay for less work. Please email with information about yourself and let me know why you want "this"!!!
