Baltimore city / most permit cost $300. due to required drawings

STAIRS AND LANDINGS

To figure out how many stairs you need measure the height from the ground to the bottom of the door in inches

and divide by 7

example

If your access door to the deck is 7 ft off the ground that equals 84 inches.

7 goes into 84 12 times that means you will need eleven stairs and the deck or a landing will be the 12th.

3x3 wood landing cost $300 composite $500

4x4 wood landing cost $400 composite $600

(if your yard tapers down away from your house it will take more stairs than estimated.)
