BENTON COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY SERVICES WILL NOT HELP I REPORTED almost 3 weeks ago and my GRANDSON WAS BEING NEGLECTED, He is almost 10 years old his name is Alex Stephens and he has not had a permanent home in 3 years, He has been sleeping in motels sometimes but mostly on peoples floors he and his mother my Daughter were living in Texas and I talked her into coming to Rogers and stay with me and find a job and save up money to rent a place to live BUT when someone dropped them off, She brought her boyfriend who is 24 and she is 45 and my grandson gets social security $687.00 a month because his real father is disabled and he does not want anything to do with Alex his son and I didn't even know she was bring her boyfriend she did not say anything about him coming here also, and her boy friend hits her, And has sex with her in front of my grandson and they spend my Grandson Social Security Money on Cigarettes and Liquor and the Boyfriend is out on BAIL for METH Charges in Texas and my daughter seems to have lost her mind and will to do anything for her so called boyfriend, My grandson told me her boyfriend hits her all the time, She just looks like a shell of a person I called every place I can and no one will help me, When I called DHS in BENTONVILLE I told the worker they were at the EIGHTH STREET MOTEL in ROGERS ON THE 2nd floor and I waited and she never called back so I called her back and SHE said she drove around there and could not find them and theres nothing more I can do? And Now I find out through someone I know they found out she is now Staying at the Town and Country Inn in Rogers. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? MY GRANDSON IS BEING NEGLECTED and needs help MY DAUGHTERS BOYFRIEND YELLS AND CURSES AT HIM I HAVE WITNESSES TO THIS, They have no place to permanently to live and are homeless no car and no drivers license and he will not work and he spends my grandson check on cigarettes and Liquor when my grandson has nothing this year he should be going into the 5th grade, But he just finished the 2nd grade and now I found out she did not even Register him for School that just Started either? There is so much more to this PLEASE PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME, ALL I WANT IS FOR MY GRANDSON TO BE SAFE AND TAKEN CARE OF AND HAVE A HOME. PLEASE HELP ME, I have called the Police they just went to check on them and 3 weeks ago and they were staying in a room with one bed and My Daughter and her Boyfriend and My Grandson is Staying in that kind of room and the Police did not do anything about any of the Situation of what's going on and DHS will not do anything how can this be and she didn't even put him into School that just started how can this be is this how Arkansas???
