Did you give any animals to these people (New Bedford)

If so, they might be dead.

Here is a link to news coverage of this grisly story.

This is the sort of person who looks for free animals on the internet. I'm an animal-rescue volunteer. If you think this doesn't happen often, you're mistaken. If you STILL offer an animal for free to strangers on the internet, you're exposing them to this sort of danger and more.

Before they were arrested, these people were animal flippers, people who acquire animals for free or cheap, then sell them for profit. Flippers are notorious for taking poor care of animals. After all, actually feeding them cuts into profits. According to the news account , this couple let at least 23 animals (that police know about-- so far) starve to death.

Most of these cases don't make the news. We rescuers know that this sort of thing happens rather often. If you don't think so, ask yourself about the people who keep flagging this ad off (as if I won't repost it).

Do NOT offer your animals for!
