Looking for a volunteer (non-paid) Tuesday nights from 530-830pm starting in September.
I am starting a outpatient meal support group for client's with eating disorders.
Our eating disorder treatment program is designed for individuals in the outpatient level of care who suffer from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder. We frequently have individuals begin our program following treatment in residential programs, partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Many people also come to our program when first seeking outpatient treatment.
Your role would be co-facilitating the group with myself. We will be going out to eat every Tuesday to provide the clients with a positive dining experience. We also will have a process group after the meal. If you have interest in the eating disorder community this is a great way to get experience.
