I'm a busy wedding/event DJ based out of the North Shore but traveling to Boston, the South Shore, New Hampshire, Southern Maine, etc. and need help. I work mostly every Saturday (and some Friday's and Sunday's) doing weddings, Sweet 16's, and various other private and corporate events.

***I'm looking for an assistant and NOT other DJs***

:: Duties ::

∙ Unloading, loading, setting up, and breaking down DJ equipment
∙ Taking requests and interacting with guests
∙ Various other responsibilities as needed

:: Requirements ::

∙A basic understanding of music and DJ equipment preferred
∙A passion for music, DJing, and/or the entrainment industry is preferred
∙ The ability to work with people, basic customer service skills, and common sense required
∙ Be able to lift upwards of 100 pounds
∙ Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation although you're welcome to travel with me to and from events
∙ Professional/business attire a must. I wear a suit to most events and you would just need to have dress pants, dress shirt and tie, and dark and/or dress shoes.
∙Please be punctual, presentable, and patient.

I would also love to find someone with some photography and/or video experience to grab some pictures and/or video at some of the events.

I typically offer a flat rate of pay which I'm happy to discuss with the right candidate and have increased that rate for those with whom I've continued to work over the years. I also share tips whenever possible and dinner is usually provided by the venue.
