QR Code Link to This Post I drive through Nebraska to visit my Mother in Illinois a few times each year and stay overnight in either Lincoln or Council Bluffs. Every time I see the signs for the casinos in Council Bluffs I say I will stop in. Well this time I did, in the tuesday after thanksgiving. Not an experienced gambler I started playing the wheel of fortune slot machine. There are only 2 of them side by side. I played the one on the left which gives the choice of betting 1 to 5 $ ...I wanted the fun to last so after betting some 3, 4, and 5....and not much luck, I did a few 1$ bets...I looked behind me and another visitor to the casino from afar hollered to me that if I would have bet the max 5$ that would be the jackpot..from left to right the icons were: "spin" , "wheel of fortune" , and "spin"... I didnt want to beleive she was correct and then be in anguish, so just went on and played a while and then left. I only saw the pictures on the machine that show what 1,2,and 3 $ bets win. None of them matched up to what the lady a few yards said. I was tired from my drive plus someone at 5am slammed the door next to mine in the hotel so I didn't rest well and my mind was not at its best. So that night after getting home to Denver and thinking about this the whole way of course, I called the casino and spoke to one of the night managers of the slots area...he said for legal reasons he cant explain the rules by phone..BUT he said the part that tells what 5$ bet wins is at knee level when sitting at the machine. He refused to send me a pic.. All I want to know is IF I would have bet 5$ instead of the 1$ bets I was doing, would I have won the big jackpot?. I Hope the lady behind me who hollered was wrong. But until I know for sure my mind wont rest. SO I am asking that if you live in the area, u can send a pic easily through craigslist by responding to this post..could you please, if you are near or go to Ameristar just take a pic and send it to me of that very slot machine? The part that shows what u win on the face of the machine. I have googled many many pics but they are all different...they are not the exact same machine and rules on the face of the machine that tells what you win at each casino. I know this sounds crazy but I just want to see the machine and my vacation is over..I live in Denver and cant drive to CB just to see the machine. There is an Ameristar is Colorado but I cant say its the same machine face as the one in CB. The ones in cb are older than others and look different than some newer ones. Just a pic of the machine where I can see the whole front of it would help. Yes I know this is silly...but I want to know was I close to winning and made the wrong move by not betting the max or was the lady behind me wrong. I wont know for sure unless I can see the actual machine... PLEASE dont email me with an answer or opinion wo an actual pic of THIS exact machine because I know for sure they are not all the same throughout the country. And I remember the background and curtains behind this machine. There are many pics on the web of the wheel of fortune machines, from various locations, but they are not the ones I played at ameristar in council bluffs...I played the one on the left. The only other one is next to it on the right and only accepts 5$ plays....there are no other choices on that one. If u can send me a pic of this exact machine I would really appreciate it. THIS IS NOT A QUESTION OF WHETHER I WON OR NOT, I WAS BETTING JUST ONE DOLLAR CREDITS SO IT IS A FACT THAT I DID NOT WIN.....PLAYERS CAN NOT WIN THE JACKPOT BETTING ONLY ONE CREDIT...SO I DID NOT....
