East Coast family stranded in Idaho (Idaho Falls, ID)
This is not a scam, just a legitimate cry for help.
Myself & my 4 children moved out here from the East Coast via Domestic Violence Shelter Network for safety from their extremely abusive father ,to the promise of jobs for myself with an apartment included.
Since my oldest son turned 16 the shelters will not accept us as a family unit anymore & wants to put him in a boys home over 100 miles away, splitting up our family.
We do not have any living relatives & our friends back east have all helped as much as they can.
We are stuck living week to week in a hotel. The kids are all in school, I have recently found a job but they withhold 2 weeks pay.
Have applied for services but any official help is @ least 30 days from coming.
Our savings have run out.
Hotel payment is due again in a couple days, we have exhausted all food banks etc. provided in this area.
we need money for room rent, food, daily neccessities. I will be more than happy to provide my phone # ID pictures of the kids or anything else you might request to assure you that we are real people in a real bad situation & need some real help.
I pray that this post touches the right heart & that you feel the truth & desperation in this Mothers words..
