Trinidad is on I/25 200 miles south of Denver. It is surrounded by Fishers Peak, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Trinidad Lake with the Santa Fe Trail and Purgatoire River going through town. The town is full of history and character. The Amtrak stops in Trinidad on its way from Chicago to LA.
At 6,000 feet elevation, Trinidad has a wonderful climate with over 300 sunny days per year. Four real seasons, none too harsh. Spring and summer days are generally warm with cool evenings. When the clouds come the are often very vivid and distinctive.
Trinidad was recently designated a Colorado Creative District. The Savoy Cafe is available for jam and practice sessions as well as small private concerts. A recording studio is being assembled. Additional equipment is needed.
