EMT-B Primary Instructor Position (2-week Accelerated Program)
Full-time. Kansas City, Missouri location

Responsibilities
Leads didactic lectures, practical demonstration, and group activities in both traditional and online instruction.
Tests and evaluates students skills and competencies.
Grade all quizzes, examinations, and student assignments in a timely manner.
Monitor students' progress and provide supplemental instruction and/or individual tutoring as necessary.
Provide students with constructive feedback, direction, and counseling.
Maintain student and class records.
Supervise students at clinical sites.
Maintain classroom, lab space and equipment.
Adhere to policy, guidelines, and regulations set in accordance with accreditation standards.
Additional duties as necessary.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of pre-hospital Emergency Medical Care.
Knowledge of the State of Missouri's Current EMS Standards and Procedures.
Knowledge of Scope of Practice and Regulations governing Emergency Medical Technicians.
Knowledge of EMS equipment and supplies.
Knowledge of EMS treatment procedures and techniques.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Demonstration of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstration of a professional manner and appearance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current Missouri licensure, national registry, or other state license or certification, ACLS & PALS and ITLS provider (within first 90 days of employment), EMT-B, EMT-Paramedic, RN or BLS.
