ABC Building Blocks Childcare INC. is currently enrolling children for evening care (3 pm to 1 am) at a rate of $30.00 per evening for part time of no less than 3 days, and $125.00 for full time (5 days mon-fri, 3pm-1am).
We are a STATE LICENSED home daycare that is located in historic district of Alton, IL. We are FULLY INSURED (Public Liability Insurance) and have our business license with a tax I.D. number, so that you may claim childcare on your taxes. The entire home is equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, and video surveillance cameras. Our staff is certified in first aid and C.P.R. for infants, children and adults and our daycare is located just a few blocks from a local hospital and the firehouse. We are a member of the CDCA food program which allows us to provide well balanced meals for your children while they are in our care. My staff and I have an ongoing education while participating in classes throughout the year. This is to keep up on important state requirements and safety, and to better our knowledge of the daycare industry. Our Director received her teaching education from Lindenwood University and has developed a structured routine that the kids love.
We have constructed our daycare with close to 1000 square feet of indoor use with a fully functional classroom for the preschool curriculum that we follow, as well as a large dramatic play room that we convert into a sleep center during nap time. Our outdoor area (pictured above) is equipped with a tricycle path (with tricycles, cozy coupes, wagons, scooters, etc. . .), Gazebo (that we have made into a cooling station), recycled music wall, swings and balance area, and lots of equipment to keep the kids engaged in gross motor movements! This spring we will install the entire playground with sun sails to provide tons of shade for the children as they play.
Our daycare offers daytime care, with hours from 7:00a.m. - 6:00p.m., as well as evening care, with hours from 3:00p.m. - 1:00a.m. We are excited to be one of the only daycare's in the area to help provide care for parents who work the day shift as well as the parents that work the evening shift.
With our program in our home, the kids receive better one on one care and there is a bigger level of comfort in the environment. The kids that are enrolled in our program will receive excellent loving care and learning. We look forward to hearing from you so we can make an appointment to see the facility.
