Experienced Nanny Moving To St. Louis (Wenztville)
To the wonderful city of St. Louis (and the surrounding areas), hello!
My name is Aurora and I am from Seattle, Washington. I know you might be wondering why I am posting on the STL craigslist, and I am happy to explain!
In August of this year (2015) I will be moving to Missouri to live in Wentzville. I currently work as a live-in nanny and personal chef (part-time) for the family of a beautiful and brilliant 3 year-old girl. If I could bring them with me, I would in a heart beat, but unfortunately that will not be possible. This means that I will be looking for a new job! I will gladly email my resume to anybody interested, but I will post some basic facts about me and my qualifications for ease of access and my personal security.
Previous experience and qualifications:
- Have worked with children of both genders, ages 2 to 14.
- Have experience in potty training toddlers!
- Loves animals of all types (Fur, feathers, scales, and fluff. I love all animals and am not allergic to any of them. If you have pets I will love to spend time with them as well!)
- Basic housekeeping skills (Cleaning, sewing and fixing torn clothes, laundry)
- Natural, healthy meal planning and prep. I do not eat processed food and will not feed it to your child unless discussed with you first. I am an excellent chef and an even better baker. My cookies are hard to beat!
Facts about me:
- 22 years old
- Does not smoke or drink (I don't mind if you do either of these things, but I personally do not.)
- Clean-eater (As I said, no processed food! Did I mention I am excellent at making vegetables appealing to children?)
- Have a cat named Jellybean (This is not important to my skill set or personality, but I just thought I'd put it out there.)
- Life dream is to open a bakery
- Caring, loving, and high energy personality. I am pretty goofy and I love to go to the park and run around and have an awesome picnic. I have gleaming recommendations from every family I have worked for!
I am not strictly looking for another live-in position, though I would certainly consider it for the right family. While I understand it is hard to get to know a person from so far away, but I am willing to get to know you and your family over the phone or skype before we set up an in-person interview for your safety and mine. I am also aware that this is pretty far in advance, but I would rather give myself (and your family) enough time to get comfortable and adjust.
