I have a 8 year old boy that is in need of tutoring to help him be better prepared for the 3rd grade. I live in watertown would prefer someone to come to my home as I have 5 other children.
We moved this year and unfortunately it has been hardest on my 8 year old. He has always had trouble in school and right now his advancing to 3rd grade is in jeopardy. I have the option of retaining him or moving him up. His teacher has made some really good points and I am leaning more towards retaining him. His father wants him to move up. So we have desided to spend the summer having him work one on one with a tutor and see if we can get him where he needs to be and then make the decision before the year begins on what is best for him.
Since you will be around my child and hopefully in my home I will be looking for someone trustworthy which will include your cooperation in a background check. I also would like to know what makes you qualified to be teaching my son. This could be a summer gig and may be something that could continue through next year. I also have another child beginning kindergarten next year who may need help as well.
