FashionGraphic Interns Wanted for two events

Dear The Look of LA Volunteer,

I hope all of you are doing well. October is just around the corner and that means time for new fashion shows with exciting new designers at The Look of LA exciting events. I hope you are ready for some fun.

Below are The Look of LA, show dates and Teams Descriptions.

Please e-mail your preference of team and availability for the below days in the body of your email.

Street Fashion Week Event October 24th 2015

TEAM DESCRIPTIONS

*Set-Up Team:
Set up all chairs/tables and label chairs with seat #'s and RESERVED signs. Help with patio set up, help with red carpet set up, help French with the art gallery, sponsor and market area set up.

*Gift Bags:
Stuff and organize gift bags and then place on chairs prior to show. (also will help with set up once bags are stuffed or beforehand if needed).

*Usher:
Seat guest and help with run of front of the house. (also will help with set up and gift bag stuffing or beforehand if needed).

*Production Assistant:
Help production team needs in whatever is needed. Ideal for someone that is interested in experience in backstage event production.

THESE LAST 2 TEAMS HAVE INTERNSHIP POSSIBILITIES. THERE ARE ALSO TRAINING SESSIONS THAT WILL BE GIVEN BEFORE HAND. MUST BE PROFESSIONAL AND AVAILABLE MORE THAN 2 DAYS. LIMITED SPACE.

*Guest List Check in:
Help out at check in tables. Sit at table and man one of the lists, checking in guests/pr/press and providing them with wristbands/lanyards/media credentials. Must remain at this table throughout event. Ipads/Tablets/Laptops needed.

*Social Media: This will be half and half.
Part 1: Facebook/Twitter/ Instagram: You will be posting to various feeds: Run-of-show, photos, fun quotes, show's hashtags, logo photos, designer names, report on trends characteristics, etc. during each show. Must be great at using twitter and a natural at getting great eye-catching photos and discussing fashion via social media.
Part 2: Red Carpet:
Will escort guests off red carpet and into event. Must not be afraid to keep people moving along in a polite manner. There needs to be a steady flow of traffic during this time. Must remain at red carpet area until all guests are inside event and be back at this area before doors open before each new show.



If you are confirmed to volunteer you will receive a second email confirming you. Later you will receive an email assigning your role, job description, instructions for arrival, details for the week, rules, dress code, and days you are to attend.

It is imperative that you commit your time to us once confirmed. If you MUST cancel please let us know ahead of time. We don't mind if you have something you have to take care of and cannot make it, but we do mind if we cannot replace you in time!

There will be scheduled volunteer meetings before our week of shows.
