I've only been playing for about 2 years but I take it seriously, get professional lessons weekly, and practice every day. I read music, keep time meticulously, and pick up beats pretty quickly, but I've gotten to the point where I need to start playing with other people to progress. I'm admittedly no Keith Moon yet, but I'm responsible, drama-free, and hard-working, so I'd learn the songs and show up. I also have my own kit and a basement to practice in. I'd be down for anything rock and roll, indie, folk (can't do jazz).
