Insurance Inspector to conduct property inspections for insurance underwriting purposes. Flexible daytime hours. Responsibilities will include observation of conditions and hazards, taking digital photographs, measuring the dwelling (for some), and submitting a report
This is a great position for someone who wants a flexible schedule. The amount of work will vary each month.
This is a 1099 position and you are paid once a month. Please be sure that you have funds to get you by until pay day to help with fuel, equipment etc. A background check is also required. This is paid by the inspector.
Again, this is part time. This is a great job for someone that is looking to make a few extra bucks each month.
Contracted services will include:
• Taking digital photos of residential properties
• Documenting any hazards identified at the property
• Determining the type and nature of the property's construction materials
• Sketching the property and premises
Specific qualifications for the contract include:
• Complete background check
• Equipment requirements:
o Digital camera
o Cell phone
o PC access / High-speed Internet (inspections are routed electronically)
and a PRINTER
o Mapping software or GPS
o 100' tape measure or measuring wheel or Laser
o Reliable vehicle
o Insurance inspection and / or field survey experience, helpful
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Fee schedule varies, depending on client, type of inspection, time-frame, and location
• 1099 Independent Sub Contractor status.
