Film description:
Redeemer is the story of the attractive and career driven Xavier James. Raised in the church, he develops a passion for music at an early age. His father, Samuel, is a well-respected Pastor in the city of Detroit known for his work with the young men in the community. While Xavier is visiting home from college, he and his father are robbed at gun point. In just a blink of an eye, his father is murdered in front of him and from that point on his world is rocked. He vows to stay away from Detroit and put all of his anger into his passion for music. 10 years after the death of his father, he has graduates from college and becomes one of Atlanta's most successful music representatives. His world of music, women and money comes crashing down when he gets the call; his mother has cancer. Now he must return to the city that took his father and make peace with the God that let it.
