I am a master tradesman. I do everything that goes along with tile installations. I make waterproof shower pans, float walls and float floors to level. Strengthen walls and rotten floors. I cut door bottoms and base trims when the project calls for it. I remove and reset trims and appliances when the project calls for it. I build the countertops when a project calls for tiled coutertops. I specialize in the trade of tile. by just doing tile, and not mixing in carpet or garage or deck building, this gives me economic and time efficiencies more than others that simply do not get the full hands on experience day to day. I am a professional with laying custom: for exaple tile wave patterns or custom mosaic patterns, marble, granites, travertines, etc... I am a wealth of knowledge with designs. You can roll a marble down my grout lines. You need not install quarteround trims to hide my cuts, my cuts perrfectly scribe the wall base trim.
This is my fourth year back home in Indiana. Previously, I have set tile in Chicago, Aspen Colorado, Vail Colorado, Sedona Arizona, and most recently 4 years in Jackson Wyoming were perfection is demanded. Anything less than perfect gets torn out and redone. It is easy to be perfect when you care about the quality and put in the extra time to do the job right. Tile is my art, I make custom tiles in my pottery shop and custom mosiac tile designs out of raw clay, and specific glazes, when such an opportunity arises.
Due to the economy this year, my prices are the lowest of anyone. My prices for floors start at $2.40 a square foot, and it is for me personally to set the tile, not some employee. My prices rise to $5.00 a square foot if it is a real small job, as with small jobs, I still must travel, procure supplies, roll out tools and clean up my equipment, just for such a small area. Precision is guarenteed. I am the old time master, trained from the masters, handed down generation to generation.
