I've owned and fostered birds for over 15 years. I've handled and tamed many kinds of parrots from conures to macaws and am very knowledgable in various dietary and emotional needs of many species of birds. I've dealt with feather pickers, screamers and aggression. We are looking to add a feathered friend to our family.

I don't work so my time with a bird would be almost unlimited. I've been known to cook for birds and don't think birds belong in cages 24/7. When we are home the bird wouldn't be confined to its cage but would be free to play on an open play gym or tree or hang out with us. Our new friend would accompany us to many bird friendly places and be a part of our family.

We own our home and have the space and resources to care for your bird. I understand how difficult of a decision this is and not one we take lightly. We understand that circumstances change and that for one reason or another you may not be able to care for your bird the way you want to. Please email me to discuss further.

We have excellent references including an avian vet reference and might consider a small rehoming fee depending of the situation. Any bird that joins our family will see a vet right away and will be completely.
