Foster cats available for adoption (Lower Bucks)

I am fostering several cats through ACCT Philly, the public shelter in Philadelphia. They are spayed/neutered & have appropriate vaccinations. They live in a home with a teenager, senior dogs & other cats.

Arnold is a large muscular black cat weighing 18+ lbs. He tested positive for the FIV virus (feline immunodeficiency virus), which can lower a cat's immune system. He has a bit of chronic stuffiness in his nose, and his eyes water a bit. He is a talkative cat and likes to sit on laps as well as sit on the window sill. He is a catnip fan as well. FIV+ cats can safely live with other cats in a stable household where the cats get along. He's a big lug & named after Arnold Schwarzenegger. Although Arnold loves the ladies, he does not like dogs so no dogs please.

Shadow is an adult black & white cat who was surrendered to the shelter in mid December. He was so scared to be at the shelter that he could not be put into the adoptable cat room. Instead he was put into the TTA room (time to adjust) and staff/volunteers would try to work with him to mans him more comfortable. They discovered that he liked toys and catnip & over time he was less scared, but still not ready for the adoption room.

At the end of February he was scheduled to be euthanized & I brought him home as a foster. I kept him in a large crate & let him observe my cats & dogs from the safety of the crate. He is now loose in my small home but prefers to stay in my room. He does seem to like being petted, but if he is startled or scared he goes under my bed. He would do best in a quiet home with patient & understanding owners. He likes other cats & would likely feel more confident with a calm cat friend.

Zelda is my newest foster. She had to serve 10 day bite hold at the shelter after biting her first foster mom when mom startled her when she reached into Zelda's crate. Zelda was likely hormonal & sad because her newborn kittens passed away. I thought Zelda deserved a other chance & took her into foster. She is a 7 lb pretty girl, who enjoys being gently pet & lounging. She gets along with mellow cats but does not like dogs.

May adoption fees are $30 plus $10 for the microchip. Adopt 2 cats for 1 adoption fee of $40 plus $10 for the 2nd cat's microchip ($50 total). Mickey's adoption fee is waived because he is over 5 years old. He has a $10 microchip fee.

Meets and adoptions can place at the PetCo on Street Rd in Bensalem or at the shelter at 111 W Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia. Since they currently live in my home you must email to schedule a meet.

Please tell me a bit about your household (children etc), other pets in the home, whether you plan to let the cat go outside, your thoughts on declawing..
