My daughter found this brown case on the side of the street (Gregg St.) about April 10. Does not appear to have been damaged by rain so I feel someone lost it that day or the 9th between the rains???

It is a brown case approx 32in long and approx 3in wide. It has the initials " C V" on the case by the handle. It appears to have possibly fallen off someones vehicle on Gregg St. between Sycamore and North St. near the blue two-story ( Koutrounbis Properties??) apartments. Maybe a tenant or a friend of a tenant there possibly?? One hinge busted and some minor cosmetic damage to the case but contents inside seem fine.
