Hi all, my name is Zelda. I have a girls name, but I am a boy. I am about a year old, so I still have a lot of puppy in me, I am a Black Lab/Boxer mix, more Lab though I think. I have been neutered but unfortunately I cannot stay with my family any longer.

I don't go potty in the house, I'm totally potty trained, I love to play and wrestle, and I'm always there to snuggle up with at the end of the day, and I know mom and dad are going to miss that.
I'm fine with other dogs, I have a little Chihuahua friend I love to aggravate, and the cat, well.. shes a cat, what can I say, shes ok, I don't really pay much attention to her.

The only thing that's wrong with me is that I'm crazy super protective of my owners. They didn't train me, they had every intention of doing so, but they both work all the time. I'm thinking, given the right person, the right training, I can become an even better dog I am now, and be OK with people eventually.

I think I would prefer someone who doesn't have kids. It's not that I'm bad with them, but I play hard, and have hurt them when I play bite.

Another thing, I love to run and be outside, but because I'm so crazy protective of my owners, they can't take me out too much, when I see other people, I just see red because I think they are going to hurt my family, and I NEED to protect them. I did bite someone the other day, and this is the reason they are wanting to find someone else that would be able to take care of me better than they do.

Do I blame them? Not really, but I'm a dog, I have needs, I have wants. I want to be able to go outside, I need walks or a place to run, and they can't do that for me.

I have been well taken care of, I have been going to PetSmart and had them do my shots and everything, rabies shots, and everything that is needed for me to be a healthy dog.

Please give them a call by tomorrow. I overheard them talking that if no one takes me they are probably going to have to take me to the pound, and I really don't want that!

Call or text, doesn't matter what time, trust me, they will do everything in their power to let someone else have me instead of taking me to the pound.
