My name is Lea, I am an au pair from Lyon, France. I have been in New Jersey since January, but that family and I were not a good fit. I am not ready to go back home and I have several friends that are au pairs in Utah and I would love to come see the place they all love. I have through the 1st of Janurary 2016 left on my Visa and if the family and location are right I would consider extending for another year.

I became an au pair to take care of children of another culture and take care of them every day and for a long time. It is during this long period that will allow me to actually discover them and learn a lot about them. It is also during this long period of daily interactions we will create links. I love their sense of curiosity, learning new things and being au pair allows me to teach them my culture. that create a real exchange. I also become an au pair to improve my English and live a real cultural exchange and travel.

I love taking care of children because they are curious, surprising, full of energy and imagination! I love learning from them and playing with them. When weather is nice, I love outdoor activities with them such as biking, hiking, ball, horseback riding, swimming, boating activity, go to the park etc. When it rains, you can play board games or doing manual activities such as cooking, painting, drawing, etc.

I love to travel, I am always ready to go, I like to discover new cities or landscape, I'm open minded. I love Museums and learning from the past. I love extreme sports (or outdoor activities) as paragliding, hiking, snow tubing, snowboarding, climbing, jet skiing etc.

I would like a family who really wants a cultural exchange, who likes to communicate, that matches my interests, open-minded, who would consider me as a member of their family who loves to travel and to laugh. I love to laugh but I know to be professional. As an Au Pair, I am available to work 45 hours per week, completely flexible to work evenings, weekends, and split days! I can also be responsible for children's laundry, light housekeeping and cooking for the children, all for only $360 per week (or less with applicable discounts).
