Full time NannyHousehold Mgr needed for Capitol Hill family (Seattle)

Capitol Hill family seeking a full time nanny/Household Manager starting in mid-January. Mom and Dad own a business so sometimes the hours can be demanding. They have 3 children: 2 girls ages 8 and 5 and a boy age 7. The 8 year old enjoys playing basketball, spending time with friends, and LOVES to read. The 5 year old is in pre-k and will be joining her older siblings in full day school next year. She is your typical 5 year old; she gets upset, is loud, enjoys playing, and spends a lot of time with her siblings. The 7 year old loves soccer, playing Minecraft, is well behaved, and makes friends with everyone. No allergies for any of the children. The family does have a bulldog that is well behaved. Mom and Dad sometimes take him to work so there won't be a lot of interaction with him. The family would love if nanny could take him on a walk with the kids every once in a while. Their ideal nanny is a self-starter, flexible, organized, responsible, a clear communicator, reliable, and has a good sense of humor. They really want someone who is able to connect with each of the kids and develops a relationship with each member of the family; they really treat their nannies as an extended family member. This is not their first time hiring a nanny, and they understand the importance of a good relationship with their nanny. Someone who is flexible, mellow, and tech-savvy (or comfortable with using phone apps). Responsibilities include: picking the kids up from school and transporting to occasional after school activities, homework help, keeping track of the kids' schedules, playing, helping keep the home tidy and organized, willingness to stay on schedule with Mom, meal planning and prep for kids (huge plus if you are able to whip up dinner a couple nights a week), errands, Costco trips.

Family is offering a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the core hours being 1pm-6 or 7pm. For full time hours, the family will allow the nanny to come in a few hours earlier (11am or 12pm) to complete errands and other household tasks. If you can stay late once or twice a week, that's a plus. Candidate MUST have flexibility to work 9a-5p during summer break and non-school days. If you want extra hours, Mom would love an assistant for organizational projects (i.e. organizing the pantry). Pay is $20-22/hour, depending on experience, plus benefits. The position will start as soon as they find the right fit. If you are interested, please send your current childcare resume to
