We are a a family of four. We prefer to live in houses rather than in apartment bldgs so that the kids (8 and 11 years old now) can play out doors. Unfortunately the owners of the house we are currently renting want to sell the house and have asked us to move. We are seeking a house or similar situation in which there is some nature. We prefer Oakland but are open to surrounding cities. We are interested in doing gardening or home repairs in exchange for reasonable rent. My husband is very highly skilled.
