QR Code Link to This Post We need to rehome our guinea pigs, Geronimo and Dorito. They are a bonded male pair, super sweet, and need to stay together. We love guinea pigs. They are such sweet pets and have great little personalities. However, my mom is highly allergic to them, which has prevented us from having them for a long time. She is so allergic that she can't come into our house for even a few minutes if we keep them indoors. When we moved over the summer to a house that has a seperate outdoor workshop, the kids started asking for guinea pigs right away, as we now had a separate, climate controlled room to keep them in where my mom wouldn't be affected by then. So we saw these little guys, fell in love with them, and brought them home. They have a set up in my workshop now. Sadly, this was a better idea in theory than in reality. We all make sure to go out there multiple times a day to love on them, but it's really just not the same as having them in our house. Guinea pigs are very social animals and I am afraid they just aren't getting the attention that they deserve. So I really think the best thing to do is to try to find them a home where they can be a part of someone's family and not just kept seperate and visited several times a day.
