Don't let my qualifications scare you! I charge less than local businesses who only hire kids and when it comes to technical knowledge, just because I CAN teach you any theory course or techniques, that doesn't mean that you need them. I am like a chef or a doctor who knows that too much can be just as harmful as too little and my true art is getting it right and that is the professional way to do things.

If you only want to learn your favorite song, you will ALWAYS be welcome in my home and I will be HAPPY to teach it to you accurately and with insights that you will not find elsewhere. If that is all you need, I honestly believe I will hear from you again when you need me and you will be welcomed back. That is why I have so many clients who have been with me for many years.

This should be a strong indication that it isn't just me saying that I have the unique ability to breakdown and analyze music from ANY genre from both a musical and technical standpoint. These skills are many levels above training you can find at a local or online business who will only treat you like a number and just keep you busy until you quit.

My focus will be to understand and clarify (for both of us) where YOU are now and where you want to go and then help YOU setup YOUR strategy for the most direct route to get there, then it is like working out; once you know what to do, it is up to YOU to get it done. THIS IS HOW PEOPLE EXPERIENCE THE MOST VICTORY

I charge $55 per hour or $30 per Â½ hour and my hours do not revolve around a facility. You will not be paying extra for facility business policies which would otherwise dilute the quality of YOUR training. You will be investing in real experience instead of just paying rent at a business. Why settle for pouring money into a facility who claim "it is just good business" to only hires the cheapest instructors to operate as salesmen to sell you as many unnecessary products and lessons they can, until you quit. Why reward them for taking advantage?

I have decades of experience based on the belief that it is "good business" to operate in the best interest of my client so I will tell you honestly that you only need regular weekly lessons when it benefits YOU. Regular lesson times mostly benefit a facility and instructor but they can actually be counterproductive for some students depending on personality type and what type of training we are involved in.

QUALITY Individualize training is ALWAYS about making good decisions every step of the way and acting on them. For me, taking the time to really know my clients has proven to be a unique and effective decision I have been acting on for 39 years. I can make any situation work because adapting is my art. (I have included scans of covers of books I have either transcribed, edited or co-authored and hand-written sample of how I transcribe for my students. You will see that I do not do the standard, transcriptions that instructors do or the downloaded tabs that are causing so many people to waste so much time. I include rhythmic notation, harmonic analysis, accuracy and more important; the ability to convert YOUR choice of songs into lessons that are RELEVANT to.)
