GUITAR REPAIR AND RESTORATION
BCH Guitars can repair or restore your instrument transforming it from average or ordinary to extraordinary. We can return your vintage Les Paul to its glory days. Take your "modern" instrument to the twenty-first century. Re-color your quilt top or add a veneer to your Explorer, Flying V or other flat top instrument and give it some style. We do all levels of clear coat repair from deep scratch removal to strip and re-shoot using turbine automotive technology not the old compressor hardware depot paint gun. We repair cracked or broken bodies and necks, we can even clone a broken piece using the pieces and a little mechanical design magic. Don't give up on what you may think are the last notes of your favorite instrument until you consult with us. If we aren't comfortable fixing it we will recommend someone who can.
CNC MACHINING
If its CNC precession work you need we've got it. We design and cut routing templates, cavity covers, custom wood pick-up mounting rings, truss rod covers, necks, bodies, wood bridges and we can clone your existing parts as well. Start your new product line using our affordable array of building resources. Pricing is subjective to design time but I am willing to bet you will have a hard time beating my price and the years of experience in mechanical design and prototyping. We can also engrave your logo or other info on just about anything we cut or in most cases your existing stock. We also provide builders the aides necessary to properly complete guitar and bass projects, routing templates for any design body as well as internal routing needs, radius fret board sanding blocks in and size made to order (including custom sized boards such as 18 or 6 degree radius), contour sanding blocks for custom contour tops chamber templates for bodies and much more. GUITAR MODIFICATION
BCH Guitars can perform upgrades and modifications of all sort. From simple electronic replacement to additional piezo or 13 pin Roland or Ghost pickup installation. We can re-shape that uncomfortable neck pattern into something you won't want to put down, add body contour for belly or forearm comfort. Whatever you dream up let us take a shot at making it come true.
GUITAR SET-UP AND INTONATION
WE can provide the most extensive set-ups available that include but are not always limited to:
* Neck / nut assessment and adjustment.
* Electronics cleaning / lubrication of potentiometers and switches.
* Pick-up adjustment.
* String action adjustment.
* Cleaning and conditioning of the fret board.
* Hardware adjustment / tightening including screw replacement when necessary.
* Removal and replacement of strings
* Intonation performed and final tuning (some tremolo models at an additional cost).
(Strings typically used are; D'Addario EXL, Ernie Ball Slinky Nickel, and GHS Boomers gauges 9 - 12. We welcome you to supply a preferred string set and will reduce cost by $5 in such cases.)
