We are currently seeking one hairstylist to help us realize a 6-hour performance/contemporary art event on Sunday, August 23, 2015, as part of a large art exhibition at Terrain Biennial, hosted by Terrain Exhibitions (located in Oak Park at 704 Highland Avenue).
The concept of our art installation is based on the idea of the "revolutionary, state-mandated" haircut, where visitors can volunteer to receive a free haircut in the style of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un (see attached photo).
We are seeking a stylist who is willing to work for 6 hours, Sunday, August 23, 2015, from 3PM-9PM. We will work with you to create the best and most reasonable schedule, to make sure that cuts are offered on a reasonable first-come, first-reserve basis. Interested hairstylists must be able to supply their own tools and transportation to and from the site.
***If selected, you will be paid $120 USD Cash for your time, as well as any tips. You will also have access to free food and drink.***
