There are many of the simple things in life that are taken for granted. One of those things is having shoes to put on every day.
I am working on a One Day Without Shoes project in which I am looking for models to participate. The objective is to spread awareness of the issue of kids all over the world not having any shoes. These children are forced to walk to and from their schools without any shoes to protect their feet.
The company TOMS is the main supporter of this movement. Their goal is also to spread awareness of the issue and provide a pair of shoes to a child in need for every one you buy. If you would like more information, you can visit onedaywithoutshoes.com.
I should point out that I do not work for, neither am I affiliated with TOMS, however I am an artist who believes in helping children in need.
That is why I am working on a photo project to help spread awareness to this issue.
