FORKLIFT OPERATOR - IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS!!
Tracks movement of material/supplies. Counts, sorts and records numbers, codes or other information for inventory. Stocks shelves, departments, etc. Additional qualifications may include the ability to identify flaws and defects and work with detail i.e., check numbers, compare lists .May use technology PCs, RF scanners, etc. to complete job tasks.

Minimum requirements of job seekers is that he/she should be capable of fulfilling other cross-functional roles to include operating all forklift equipment 6 months experience minimum , have a clear understanding of the working conditions and he/she is flexible to start on Shift A. Warehouse experience is a plus. These are critical temp to hire roles for the Joliet, IL Distribution Center with an immediate need to sustain product distribution in their warehouse. Conversion to the client is all in the hands of the candidate and their performance. Covidien has excellent benefits and incentives for their FTE s. This is a union site and their credentialing for their candidates are at the highest standard as these are great opportunities and are temp to perm positions after 3 months. Choice of 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts are available.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to participate with an assigned training schedule: Week 1 is always on 1st shift. Week 2 and 3 are assigned by the facility (not employee's choice) to either 1st or 2nd shift based on department and trainer's schedule.
High School Diploma or completed GED. All education will be verified.
Ability to perform repetitive movement of hands and arms.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs.
