Horse Training Lessons (El Reno)

Silver Lining Performance Horses is pleased to announce they moved to their new location April 1st.
The new barn is located in El Reno, minutes off of I-40 and boasts an indoor arena, ample pasture space, English and Western lessons, boarding with a live in barn manager.
Silver Lining Performance Horses is owned and managed by Annie Specht, who has over 13 years in experience with horses, ranging from Western Pleasure and Barrels to Hunters and Jumpers, Intro to Eventing and Dressage.
Lessons are available starting April 1st and are available in group or private settings. Lessons are available during the week or weekends to suit your needs, typically one lesson per week is recommended but additional lessons can be arranged and is encouraged.
Lesson horses are available or you may bring your own horse (proof of current coggins is required).

Group Lessons: $25
Private: $35

Boarding is available, $425 for a stall with turnout, and feed and hay twice daily. Pasture is available for $350 a month which includes grain twice a day and round bales when needed.

Now taking pre-registration for the 2015 Young Rider Summer Camps!
We offer full day camp for ages 10-16 and half day camps for ages 7-9. Both will focus on horse care, riding instruction, crafts, games and more. This is a great opportunity for kids who are just getting into horses or for older kids who would like to spend more time with them and better their horsemanship skills.
Full Day- Riders ages 10-16 will come to the stables for 5 days Monday through Friday 9am -5pm, to learn what it's like to own and ride your own horse. The cost is $350. Riders will ride every day and learn basic position on the horse, including steering and control, how to tack and untack a horse and how to maintain riding equipment, along with other horsemanship skills. Riders will also groom and care for the horses each day while learning to be safe around the barn. Barn chores will be part of the program to show what it really takes to own your own horse. Riders will need to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle; snacks, crafts and will be provided. Riders are expected to wear heeled boots, pants and a helmet to ride. Riders are allowed to bring shorts to change into when not riding.
Half Day- Riders ages 7-9 will come to the stables for 5 days Monday through Friday from 9am to noon and learn basic horse care. The cost is $200. Riders will ride every day and learn balance and position while riding, basic steering and control, grooming, parts of the horse, crafts and games. Riders will need to bring a water bottle. Riders are expected to wear heeled boots, pants and a helmet to ride.
