We're looking to add the right person to our team! We apologize, but we are not looking for couples.
The ideal candidates are travelers on extended vacations who would like to spend some time working in exchange for a place to stay for 2 weeks or up to 2 months.
This is straight work-trade for a stay in a top bunk in our indoor or outdoor hostel. The place is clean, secure, and friendly. :)
Duties include:
House keeping
Clean public areas
Breakfast set-up, monitoring, and breakdown
Laundry duty
Possible light maintenance
Possible light monitoring of our dorm
Work up to 20 hours a week
2 days off a week
Requirements:
Have good hygiene
Keep your area clean and organized
Follow all rules
Get along with others
Have a strong work ethic
Have a flexible schedule
Be detail oriented
Be able to follow directions well
Be comfortable using household cleaners
Be trustworthy and reliable
Have current government issued ID (ID card, driver's license or passport)
An outgoing person is a plus.
Very close to downtown Hilo (walking distance!).
Includes:
Breakfast every day
Lunch 5 days a week (the days you work)
1 load of laundry weekly
Free internet/Wifi
Use of snorkel gear, boogie boards, surf board, bicycles (based on availability)

Our work days are short, but we expect you to work hard, efficiently, and get the job done in the time allotted.
