A heads up to those interested in the hospitality industry. When looking over an ad and the pay section says "DOE" and not the true hourly wage BEWARE. This is a dirty trick in the industry to grab the most experienced at min wage. If this is your first job in the industry you will be paid min but if you have more than 3 years, be sure to contact the property and get a number before sending resume.
There is nothing more frustrating than being under paid. Feels like being taken advantage of. No hotel should pay under $12/hr. None.
