I have more details of the vision below: From Chicago, but I moved to St. Louis b/c the lady friend who just became my wife was in grad school. In St. Louis, I started a solo project called Sleeper. It gained a little bit of fast recognition in St. Louis for how new I was to the city and now that we're moving to Milwaukee, I want to campaign this project into something bigger than just a 3 piece. In the past, it's been characterized as a cinematic, melodramatic, experimental, singer-song-writery, indie band. It's been likened to Death Cab for Cutie, Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros, Local Natives, and more.

I have a lot of innovation for new direction and versatility. I'd like to play 1-2 times x month locally and once or so regionally (Chicago, Rockford, and STL are areas of some small, pre-established following). I'm a thoughtful and dedicated musician. I'm looking for you to be in your mid/late 20s - mid/late 30s, to have had studio, compositional, and performance experience... (Have you been in a band before?) and I'm looking for you to have a strong growth mindset, be comfortable giving me feedback and taking it too. Be patient and collaborative!
