Jesus died over 2000 years ago... He rose from the dead and is alive today both in Heaven and in the bodies of his followers here on Earth.
As we witness current world events that fit Bible prophesy, we are excited to know that Jesus is returning to Earth soon! The terrible Christian persecutions (beheadings, murders, rapes) that we see in the news are just indications that he is coming for his people very soon.
2 Timothy 3:12 - Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Matthew 5:10 - Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven.
If you don't know Jesus.... He wants to be your savior... He wants to save you from the evil that is in this world and bring you to his Kingdom where there is no suffering, no hate, no disease, no pain. His Kingdom is one of peace, love, happiness. Ask Him to come into your heart by saying a prayer similar to this one (in your own words):
"Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you. Everything I am, everything I have I give to you and ask that you take me into your arms. I am a sinner, I have done some really bad things in my life... but you are a great Savior and there is nothing you can't forgive me of. You are a Greater Savior than I am a sinner. You conquered death. You live! You are the Truth, the Life and the Way. Only through You can I come to the Loving Father God. Thank you for coming to this Earth to save me (us). Help me to grow more in Your will with each passing hour. I love you and look forward to meeting you (face to face) soon. Love, (your name)"
This message and this prayer is a blessing to those seeking pure Truth. To others, it will be ridiculed and this post will be flagged (another form of Christian persecution), which proves the world is rejecting Christ and the end of this world as we know it is very near.
But all believers should fear not... because after this world is destroyed by the cleansing fire of Christ's second coming, Jesus will re-create this planet and make it perfect again. Just like it was before sin entered! We who have surrendered to Christ will enjoy eternity with Him and with our fellow believers (hopefully many of our loved ones will be in this group)
