Job Fair This Thursday Part Time Positions (Richmond)
Advantage Sales & Marketing is holding a job fair this Thursday! We will be conducting interviews and hiring on the spot.
We are currently looking to hire several event specialists to help promote a portfolio of dynamic brands at a local retailer in Richmond, VA!
As an event specialist, a few of your primary responsibilities will be engaging the consumer trial, communicating account information and growing the brand by becoming positive brand advocates. Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring flawless execution of live event programming and will be required to report information to the hiring manager as well as work under the guidance of the Retail supervisor. Each event requires setup, breakdown, preparing and sampling products on scheduled event days. Key Responsibilities (included but are not limited to the following)
- Execute off-premise retail product sampling events
- Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives
- Engage consumers in sampling of products
- Provide daily reporting on each event.
- Ensure brand integrity in all activities
- Manage program inventory
Job Requirements
- Have weekend availability
- Have Reliable Transportation
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a background test and drug screening prior to hire
- Comfortable standing at a sampling event for three hours or more at a time.
- Possesses an outgoing personality and easily engages with consumers
- Self-starter, Experience working independently with little supervision
- Strong written, verbal and public speaking skills
- Must have access to a computer to submit event reports
Schedule: Weekends Only. However, those who have open availability will be scheduled during the week.
