I want to spread the word about a little 4H group I lead. They are called Horse Force 4H club. We are located in Westminster, Md, but you do not need to be from Westminster to join the group.
Regular members are 8 through 18 and Cloverbuds are children between the ages of 5 and 7 yrs old (as of January 1st) that wish to be 4Hers someday.
You do not have to be a farmer, own animals or be from the country to want to learn about farm animals. All are welcome!
Our club in particular focuses on horses.
2015 meetings began on the first Monday in January The meetings are around 1 hour long.
They learn the 4H pledge, have a short 20 min lesson, do a fun craft and have a yummy snack. There is a small fee for the year $20 per kid.
Cloverbuds is a great experience for the little ones and 4H is a great experience for all youth!
They make new friends and learn a lot about the animals, responsibility and life lessons in the process.
