Personal Spanish tutoring is a great way to skyrocket your language ability!
My one-on-one classes are less linear than a traditional classroom setting. I use a combination of resources that are applicable to the student's interests and ability level: picture books, slideshows, videos, audio and conversation, as well as worksheets to emphasize grammar points or provide additional practice.
My highly-specialized tutoring service focuses on the key areas where the student needs work. It's not a cookie-cutter approach like you'll find with tutoring centers. And since with me there's no middleman, you get better service at less cost.
My qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Spanish from UCLA,
Spanish tutor since 2006
2 semesters experience as a Spanish teacher at a private Jr High/ High school in Los Angeles.
Travel experience to Spanish-speaking countries, including half a year living in Spain.
A year of post-graduate study in speech-language pathology at PSU.
