Just Like Grandma's House Family Daycare has some openings and we would LOVE if you could be that family.
I have been an educator for a very long time (25+) yrs. and I took a semi-retired status to take care of three very precious little's in our life, Our three grandsons. So yes, I really am a Grandma and along with my husband,(whom the children lovingly call "Papa" )who helps me daily, we look after our " daycare little's" and the grandson or two that stops in with love, respect, reassurance, and safety in mind. We run a family daycare. That means we treat everyone who is involved, parent or child like family.Yes, we work with the children but we hope to be of help with the parents as well. We teach the children the basics of daily life. Good manners, respecting themselves and others. We teach them how to share. We teach them how to play in a group. We teach them life lessons that you the parents would work on at home. How to clean up and the importance of that, how to dress themselves, how to color and draw and what colors are, How to read, and what the ABC's are for. How to socialize, and how to be proud of their accomplishments. So much more.Our fee's are pretty average to others. We offer hot home made meals daily including breakfast. We are close to playgrounds and many schools in the area. There are many fine establishments you could pick from, but I can reassure you I have the knowledge, the references and the experience behind me. I hope you will contact us.
