Keyboard player with backup vocals needed for a new cover band
This band will be centered around having fun and playing crowd-pleasing rock and pop songs that keep people dancing and partying all night. Song decade doesn't matter as long as the crowd is into it. We'll even do a few country songs if it works.
We have contacts to book shows at good bars, parties and town shows. Eventually, we want to play top rooms, casinos, corporate events and maybe even weddings.
Singer, lead guitar, bass player/backup vocals and drummer are set. We are all talented, experienced musicians in our 30's who are open-minded, professional and know how to work as a team to make the band successful.
We will play 1-2x per month for starters and then move to a solid 2. All of us have families and day jobs. This is a fun thing we do, but take reasonably seriously while having a good time and getting paid for it.
Here's what we need from you:
1) Good to great keyboard skills and gear.
2) Backing vocals is a huge plus, but we can make exception depending on skills and overall fit.
3) Develop keys parts for 'guitar songs' not recorded with keys to fill out the sound without changing the overall feel.
4) Dependability to learn/remember songs and be there for practice and shows
5) Someone with a fun, confident, professional attitude who works well with the rest of the band on stage an off.
6) Willingness to help with other areas of the band outside of shows.
7) No drugs, drama or excessive alcohol.
8) Age between 25 and 50
