Albino Rhino is a local blues/rock/funk three piece currently looking to add a keyboard player. Our eclectic repertoire consists of covers and originals, ranging in influence from The Black Keys, Parliament Funkadelic, Gov't Mule, Red Hot Chili Peppers, AC/DC, and more. We have been together for over 3 years now, playing local DC/NoVA venues such as Rock and Roll Hotel, Howard Theatre, Velvet Lounge, Mason Inn, IOTA Club, The Pinch, Tortoise & Hare, O'Shaughnessy's (Alexandria), and more. We have also had the fortune of playing such events as National Cherry Blossom Festival '14, Adam's Morgan Day '14, Leesburg First Friday, GottaFest '15 (Richmond), and SleekFest '15 (Baltimore). Our goal is 2 shows a month, sometimes more sometimes less depending on personal schedules and show offers. 2 of us have full time jobs while the other is in school for jazz guitar so flexibility in schedule is a necessity. Practices/rehearsals typically consist of a few hours on Monday afternoons/evenings weekly, with second weekly rehearsals added on as-needed basis depending on upcoming shows.
