Assistant Teacher in Toddler Room
Must have at least High School Diploma or GED and 6 months in childcare classroom experience. Prefer candidates who are attending, planning to attend, or have some college coursework.
New Reggio Inspired Preschool and Child Care Center opening soon this FALL! Pre-Enrollment begins Aug 1. Ages 6 weeks - 5 years old. This center concentrates on begin:
1. Small and Comfortable (only 20 children in the facility at a time) TOTAL :)
2. The Reggio Emilia Philosophy is based upon the following set of principles:
- Children must have some control over the direction of their learning;
- Children must be able to learn through experiences of touching, moving, listening, seeing, and hearing;
- Children have a relationship with other children and with material items in the world that children must be allowed to explore and
- Children must have endless ways and opportunities to express themselves.
3. Clean Foods - NON GMO (organic and locally grown food) used only at our Center.
4. Eco-friendly toys and utensils

Teachers are expected to have the following Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Have skills in creating a fun, learning, and safe environment.
Respond to children's needs.
Interact with children at all times.
Provide lesson plans and curriculum materials that are developmentally appropriate.
Maintain control of the classroom.
Maintain discipline on the child's level.
Oversee and interact with children during outside play time.
Accompany children at all times.
Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, sanitizing, and laundering classroom toys and equipment.
Other duties as assigned but not limited to task listed above.
