Beginning Guitar Lessons!
For all those looking for an introduction to the world of guitar. Students begin to explore the fundamental skills common to all styles: reading music & tablature, playing chords and chord progressions, using the right hand for strumming and finger picking (pima), barre chords, basic theory and musicianship. Popular, Folk and Classical guitar styles are integrated into weekly lessons. It is the goal of these first few weeks to supply each student with a foundation of understanding that will allow them to progress in the musical direction of their choice.

Luke Trimble is an award-winning classical guitarist based in Kailua, Hawaii. Widely recognized for his versatility as a performer and educator, Luke's diverse work has taken him across the globe as a soloist, with various ensembles, and as a dedicated teacher. Luke has been featured on Hawaii Public Radio. He has performed with members of the Honolulu Symphony, the Air Force Band of the Pacific, the UH Contemporary Music Ensemble, and numerous chamber players. Recent concerts in China include the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and Shanghai Concert Hall.
With a strong background in K-12 music education Luke can be found teaching students of all ages in both private and classroom settings. In addition to lessons taught in the comfort of your own home, Luke is also an instructor at the Kailua Music School.
