Learning Licensed Fun (age 18 mos) (Highlands RanchLittleton)
I currently have two part-time openings for T/Th, or I could take a child Thursdays only, age 18 mos+.
I will have two full-time openings starting in May, for a child age 2+.
This home daycare combines all that a parent wants and a child needs: full preschool curriculum, a scheduled day with time for free play and social skills learning, and a licensed and safe home with a loving, experienced provider. Our play area is center-based (centers include dress-up area, fine motor table, building, transportation, kitchen/dramatic play, reading, and craft area) in our finished walk-out basement. The outside is fully gated and locked, with appropriate climbing equipment and ride-ons. I have been Colorado-state licensed since 2005 (lic# 1535488).
Our typical day consists of:
* Daily circle time with books and singing.
* Arts and crafts with lots of fine motor skills development.
* ABCs and 123s integrated into daily play and circle time.
* Healthy meals: breakfast, lunch & snack served with organic milk.
* Daily play in our large, gated backyard with water table, play house, and learning games.
* Once a week, we either do the Music Man (lessons teach rhythm and offer exposure to musical instruments and song), or Yoga Lady.
I love what I do. I have a great group of kids, currently age 1-5 years. I send email updates to parents daily, and send photos often. I consider excellent communication to be a must in this job.
