Life Groups are the primary way that we lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ at Glee Church. This mission of our life groups is to cultivate a safe and welcoming group environment where people can grow in their relationships with Jesus and others. Place to CONNECT, PROTECT, AND GROW.
Life Groups are the vehicles through which ministry at Glee Church takes place.
Mission Critical Responsibilities:
Proactively communicate, support and fulfill the vision, values, purposes, and goals of the church
Maintain open and frequent communication with Senior Pastor, Directors, Team Leads, and volunteers.
Role Specific Responsibilities:
PRAY DAILY for group members. Tell them you are praying for them and encourage them to pray for each other.
DEVELOP an assistant. This may be the most fulfilling accomplishment of leadership: helping someone find his/her purpose in God by learning to help others.
SPEND TIME individually with group members between meetings.
FOSTER COMMUNICATION within the group. Encourage them to fellowship outside of the group through phone conversations, email, or sharing a meal or coffee.
RALLY the group around a member going through crisis. Use wisdom and be sensitive!
OUTREACH regularly with our local nonprofits.
Spiritual Responsibilities:
Passionate about God and people.
A person of character and integrity.
Committed to personal spiritual growth.
Supportive of the vision and mission of the church.
This includes:
Attending worship services
Supporting the church financially through tithes and offerings
